Individual Therapy for Kids, Teens, and Adults
Therapy at Carriage Lane is one-on-one and collaborative. People come in struggling with focus, anxiety, depression, or neurodevelopmental diagnoses such as autism and ADHD, and the first thing we build together is a working relationship strong enough to target what's actually getting in the way.
Who this is for
I see individuals of all ages. With kids and teens, emotional regulation and executive functioning/organizational skills are the most common areas we work on. Adults come for those same skills as often as anything else, alongside anxiety, depression, and mood and concentration concerns.
How I work
Sessions draw on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Mindfulness, and Multicultural Therapies, matched to the concern rather than forced onto it. When it helps, I take a multidisciplinary approach: with your permission, I collaborate with the other professionals in your corner, such as teachers and medical providers, so care stays consistent across settings. You can read more about my background on the About page.
Practical
The practice is based in the Forsyth and Decatur area. Sessions are often virtual for clients in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Washington, and in-person sessions may be available upon request.
